As believers it is important that we be aware of the desires that we have in our heart. Are they for our own pleasure or to please the Lord? Selfish desires can cause so much hatred toward other believers because of the things we don't have, but God allows us to go to him for the desires we have, but we must be aware of our intentions for our desires!!
