TOPIC: What is Truth
Truth is often defined as that which corresponds to reality, facts, or what is objectively verifiable. Philosophically, it can take different forms:
Correspondence Theory: Truth is what matches reality. If a statement aligns with the way things actually are, it is true.
Coherence Theory: Truth is what fits consistently within a larger system of beliefs or knowledge.
Pragmatic Theory: Truth is what works or proves useful in practical application.
Subjective Truth: Some argue truth can be personal, shaped by perspective and experience.
In everyday life, truth is often seen as honesty, accuracy, or reliability in what is said and believed. But its deeper nature has been debated for centuries—what do you think truth is?
