One mistake can cost you everything!

When Mosha was angry with the people he made a mistake and that mistake cost him a great deal.

1. And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying
2. 'Take the rod, and assemble the congregation, thou, and Aaron thy brother, and speak ye unto the rock before their eyes, that it give forth its water; and thou shalt bring forth to them water out of the rock; so thou shalt give the congregation and their cattle drink.'
3. And Moses took the rod from before the LORD, as He commanded him.
4. And Moses and Aaron gathered the assembly together before the rock, and he said unto them: 'Hear now, ye rebels; are we to bring you forth water out of this rock?'
5. And Moses lifted up his hand, and smote the rock with his rod twice; and water came forth abundantly, and the congregation drank, and their cattle. {S}.
6. And the LORD said unto Moses and Aaron: 'Because ye believed not in Me, to sanctify Me in the eyes of the children of Israel, therefore ye shall not bring this assembly into the land which I have given them.'
7. These are the waters of Meribah, where the children of Israel strove with the LORD, and He was sanctified in them. {S}.

(when he did this, he equaled himself to God. Similar to what you see today when people calling themselves guy. We forget what the scripture say..

Adonai Yahuah which gathers the outcasts of Yashar'el says, Yet will I gather others to him, beside those that are gathered unto him. All ye beasts of the field, come to devour, yea, all ye beasts in the forest. His watchmen are blind: they are all ignorant, they are all dumb dogs, they cannot bark; sleeping, lying down, loving to slumber. Yea, they are greedy dogs which can never have enough, and they are shepherds that cannot understand: they all look to their own way, everyone for his gain, from his quarter.
