It is officially June everyone, and you know what that means... It's Lakes Jam Month!!!!
But, before we get to that, the Listen Local crew stops by the BRAND NEW BLA Restaurant, Lakes Tavern! Now, as you'll hear in this episode, there is A LOT of background construction noise as this team is working day and night to get this place up and running ASAP. Speaking of that construction, Lakes Tavern will be located at the old Timberjack building, but once you see this place you won't even recognize it from the inside. The renovations are amazing!
While we were out there, we had new owners Charlie and Tommy on the show. These two guys have known each other for years, going back to their days working together in St. Cloud. After moving up north, they both landed at Norway Ridge, where Tommy was the Head Chef until just a couple of months ago. During this episode both Tommy and Charlie talk about what led them to the Lakes Area, why they felt now was a good time to jump into this venture, and of course some of the featured items on the menu.
