Live From The Hotel Edison Times Square Chronicles Presents: Saving The Oceans With EM The Master

Live From The Hotel Edison is a weekly show done live at The Hotel Edison in New York City presented by the newspaper Times Square Chronicles. Guests include Theatre, Music, Film, Beauty and experts who reside or are in NYC. On this episode owner Suzanna Bowling talks with

EM The Master. Known for her high-energy performances, poignant lyrics and unique theatricality, Em Hoggett aka. EM The Master is a critically-acclaimed music artist, actress, writer, director, classical pianist, scuba diver, freediver and activist. Beginning as a classical pianist aged 3, Em was named a “prodigy”, receiving her first degree in piano performance aged 11, and a second at 15. At 13 she performed with concert pianist Lang Lang at The Royal Festival Hall.

Em's broad background is evident in her work, which defies genre and spans theatre, music and storytelling. Currently, Em is combining her artistry with her passion for ocean conservation in “Beautiful World Cabaret”, a series of environmentally focused shows produced by multi-Olivier award winner Janie Dee. Em's show is focused on the ocean, as she quirkily personifies the creatures she's had the pleasure of interacting with. A 90-minute multi-rolling extravaganza, the show explores the ocean's marvels, the challenges it faces and how we can harness individual power to give back to this essential ecosystem.
