Dallas first gained national attention after winning a national talent competition whose finals were held at New York's Town Hall. She performed with the Metropolitan Opera National Company. Her breakthrough came starring as Magnolia in the record-breaking revival of Show Boat opposite Dame Cleo Laine at London's Adelphi Theatre. Dallas remained in the UK starring in productions of The King and I, Hello, Dolly!, Kismet, and Side by Side by Sondheim to name a few. A favorite of the Royal Family, she has performed at numerous Royal Galas and even appeared alongside Dame Judi Dench in a special concert at Buckingham Palace. She has sold out concerts at From sold-out engagements at the Algonquin's legendary Oak Room, Carnegie Hall with Skitch Henderson and The New York Pops, Dallas has captivated audiences worldwide. Her album The Girl I Knew, with liner notes by Dame Cleo Laine and Sir John Dankworth. The album was named CD of the Year by BBC Music Magazine.
