In this class, we begin to apply all of the things we have learned, by exploring the Genesis 1 creation narrative. We explore the historical and literary threads that give way to important theological truths the story wishes to share. We also evaluate the risk we as Chrsitians run by arguing over what parts of the story are figurative or literal, at the expense of finding the truths God wishes to pass on.
