The choice not to dive into MMA right away with an advantage over his piers with his fathers stature has proven Gabriel to wield a strong passion for martial arts that has given him integrity and honor. This has manifested itself into a successful kickboxing career and a professional debut with 360 Promotions to display the sweet science inside the squared circle on record-shattering Hollywood Fight Nights put on by Tom Loeffler on UFC Fightpass.
Gabriel tells us about growing up with the man inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame class of 2023, in detail. From 'The Spider's love of G.I. Joes, to how difficult and inspiring it was to witness him go through his debilitating leg injury against Chris Weidman at UFC 168.
He speaks on creating his own legacy and what it was like to be there for his family when his father was cementing their name into history forever. Anderson Silva is a modern day Muhammad Ali.
Gabriel recognizes this and gave his father his flowers after his victory on his pro debut that aligned with Andersons birthday. The universe has created this test and Gabriel has chosen to accept the task.
