First of all, it's Mamba day, so we wanted to honor the Black Mamba by linking up with someone he had become very close with, Trainer Alex Bazzell. Alex came on the Jordan McCabe Podcast to to share some of his awesome stories working with Kobe.
Alex had gotten close with the Bryant's over the last few years while he helped out training Gigi Bryant and the rest of the girls on Kobe's Team Mamba. He talked about how amazing it was to know them and see just how intense their love for each other was.
He shared a lot of great stories. From Kobe waking up at 4am, to Gigi firing back at her pops, 12 and 13 year old girls practicing 5 days a week and even how Kobe told Alex he'd play him for $500k.
Each piece was so amazing. I felt like I could listen to it forever. You gotta especially love how all the girls called Kobe, "Coach Bryant".
Just a lot of great moments and memories that haven't been shared with the world yet. This week is Kobe week, so we honor and celebrate his incredible life.
