BJ Bechtel is Director of Inner City Impact, a ministry bringing the gospel and discipleship to K-12 students in Chicago and Cicero, a nearby suburb. In our conversation, we discuss how the gospel's transforming power to tear down the cultural differences that naturally separate these students also provides the power to bind them together in love as the One New Man. We also touch on the gospel's power to help each of us develop cultural sensitivity and avoid being easily offended, seeking to be humble before God and people-needed qualities in an age that values victimhood and finds outrage so quickly.
