Bob leads a discussion of God's covenant with Abraham as revealed in Genesis 12-18. God calls Abram out from his home, Lech lecha, "go forth", set yourself apart, consecrate yourself unto God Almighty. God promises Abraham that He will make Abraham a great nation, with the Promised Land, and that "all peoples on earth will be blessed through him". He promises that God will be an enemy to Abraham's enemies and Gen 12:3 God "will blesss those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse." In Gen 17:1-2 the LORD appeared to Abraham saying, " I am God Almighty, Live in My presence and be blameless,. I will establish My Covenant between Me and you, and I will multiply you greatly.". In Genesis 17 8-10: "And to you and your offspring after you I will give the land where you are residing- all the land of Canaan- as an eternal posession, and I will be their God." Gen 18:19 "For I have chosen him, so that he will direct his children and his household after him to keep the way of the LORD by doing what is right and just, so that the LORD will bring about for Abraham hat He has promised him."
