A couple years ago, Jasmine Almeda began her nonprofit, Surfing the Gap to help neurodivergent kids learn to surf.
Growing up in the surfing world and having taught lessons in high school, she saw a need.
And went for it.
We rode the wave into a deep conversation about the process of setting this whole thing up.
The event has grown exponentially each year, and there are many lessons she learned along the way.
