Repentance is part of Faith.

In Luke 24:46-49 Jesus says that we should preach repenyance and remission of sin. In order to have true faith you have to have a reoented heart.

Three elements of Repentance:

A call to repent (Acts 3:19)

A turning from sin (2 Chronicles 7:14)

A restoration (Hosea6:1)
