Interview with Daphne Robinson about Institutional Racism in the Juvenile Justice System


On this episode of SLAE with Leanne Gabriel, Leanne interviews lawyer, prosecutor and author Daphne Robinson about her book, “Delinquent” that explores racism in the juvenile justice system.

Daphne served as a prosecutor for more than 20 years in the juvenile justice system. She had an up-close view of a system that is built on institutional racism.

Daphne also has a Masters Degree in Public Health and currently serves as the Executive Director of the Center for Public Health and Justice. She is also an adjunct professor at Louisiana State University.
