In this episode, Alex and I look back at the Miami Dolphins winning week 1 while my the Jacksonville Jaguars losing. Miami beat the New England Patriots 17-16 while the Houston Texans won 37-21 over the Jags. First, Alex explains how the Dolphins were able to get a hard-earned win over a divisional rival. We also look at how well Tua Tagovailoa played despite now throwing for many yards. We also look into how Miami won the red zone and ended forced two turnovers and field goals. Then, we look at Dylan's Jags. Despite the loss, I maintain my 100 percent confidence in rookie Trevor Lawrence he will be fine in the NFL. I explain how NFL legend Peyton Manning threw three interceptions in his NFL debut. Despite several rookie mistakes, Lawrence made great throws for big plays. While the Jags lost, we both take positives in how Lawrence responded to interceptions with good throws. Afterwards, we look at other good and bad NFL performances. We first start with Kyler Murray and the Arizona Cardinals earning an impressive 38-13 road win over the Tennessee Titans in Nashville. We also look back at an embarrassing 38-3 loss for Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers. We try to answer what went wrong with the Packers.
