Cash Game Week 3 With Charles Sears

Cash Game Week 3 With Charles Sears

In this audio podcast, Charles Sears and I talk about our favorite cash-game plays and locks for Week 3 of the 2021 NFL Season.

First, we look back at how well our lineups fared in Week 2. Luckily, both of us made a profit with our cash-game builds. Charles went with either Andy Dalton or Teddy Bridgewater to save money and build a more expensive lineup. The Big D used Kyler Murray and went with cheaper receivers. Both of us used Rams receiver Cooper Kupp as someone whose price tag didn't make after a monster Week 1.

Onto Week 2, we first look at how Charles is constructing his cash lineup. He is thinking of using Jared Goff or Matt Ryan as a salary-safer. This could change depending on what values or decisions Charles makes before Sunday's official lock. Charles is really locked on using Travis Kelce and the Titans or Bengals defense. Kelce offers a big floor and major upside from a tight end position with a lack of stars. He may very well use Jaguars receiver Marvin Jones and hope for a third big game from Trevor Lawrence's favorite targets.

Then, we look at my lineup. After not being able to use him in the first two main slates, Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson is finally an option for cash games. With his rushing upside, Lamar will be a mainstay of my lineups. Like last week, Kupp will be in my builds. I am amazed Kupp is only $6,800 after back-to-back monster games. We also look at what decisions The Big D could make to use his $50,000. I am going back and forth on whether to use Vikings' running back Dalvin Cook or Titans' star Derrick Henry. I am looking forward to using consistent Keenan Allen in a potential shootout against the Chiefs.
