I explain what MLB and the MLBPA were asking in their sides of the deal. I explain why the CBT proved too be one if not the biggest sticking points in not ratifying the CBA. I add how other issues like the Minimum salary and pre-arbitration bonus pool for 0-3-year players made a deal less likely. I also explain how not just the owners or players lose. Every staff worker at MLB or Spring Training games will not be paid. I also am fearful that most if not all the season is lost like the entire 2004-05 NHL season.
