In this episode, Retired San Diego Police Detective Sergeant Carlos Chacon discusses the Mexican Mafia (EME) in San Diego, talks about EME members Ronnie and Hector Ayala, and the murder of Mauro Gonzales from Otay. On October 18, 1981, Mauro Gonzalez, a documented San Diego Otay gang member, was tortured, dismembered, and murdered by three members of the Mexican Mafia prison gang. During the commission of that crime, they also murdered Logan's gang member, who happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. This case was never solved and remains a Cold Case.
