It is commonly believed in American Christianity today that no matter what we do, that God will never forsake us. This comes from a few scriptures that are taken out of context and doesn't reveal the exceptions. Every promise of God has conditions and exceptions. The false teachers cherry pick scriptures out of context in order to tickle ears for personal gain of money and power to boost their careers.
