It is a slow fade when we let the world influence our mind and heart. All that is in the world is the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes and the boastful pride of life. Never before has the danger been so great with the invention of technology. The internet, televesion, computers, smart phones, social media, movies, music, sports, video games and man-made religion all are being used by the god of this world, Satan, to distract us away from the one and only true and living God. Satan is going about like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour. Satan is not seeking to devour a lost person of the world because he already has them, but is seeking to take a true Christian away from the Lord by presenting temptations and distractions to cause the true believer to stumble and fall away from God. ----Do not love the world nor the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the boastful pride of life, is not from the Father, but is from the world. The world is passing away, and also its lusts; but the one who does the will of God lives forever. 1 John 2:15-17---- "Therefore, COME OUT FROM THEIR MIDST AND BE SEPARATE," says the Lord.
