Then Is Now Episode 73 - 13 Days of Hallowtober 2021 - Train to Busan (2016)

For those who haven't been following, we are in the middle of our yearly event called 13 Days of Hallowtober. Our theme this year is “Modern Zombie Films”, which are films that came after and were inspired by George Romero's Night of the Living Dead in 1968, which not only set up the rules for modern zombies, but has had a lasting effect on horror film-making and horror media for the last 50 years.

Today, we're going to travel to South Korea and take the Train to Busan from 2016! Once again, Spency and Patsy the Angry Nerd join me as we discuss a tale of passengers on a train from Seoul to Busan, South Korea, who must deal with a zombie virus outbreak. This film is more than a horror movie, it's a story about characters who must overcome their failings in order to not only better their lives, but also work together to survive against near impossible odds!
