Carolina drops to 1-6 following their 40-7 road defeat to Washington. The Panthers put up 180 yards with 95 rushing for 4.1 yards a carry. On defense they surrendered 421 yards to the Commanders with 214 rushing for 5.8 yards a carry. Andy Dalton hit 11 of 16 for 83 yards and two touchdowns. Bryce Young starts for Andy Dalton who was injured in a car accident. Denver is 4-3 with their 33-10 road victory at New Orleans. The Broncos gained 389 yards with 225 rushing for 6.4 yards a carry. Defensively they allowed 271 yards to the Saints with 174 passing on 39 attempts. Bo Nix hit 16 of 26 for 164 yards.
