Trailblazers will benefit greatly from the rest on account of how much they rely on their two guards. With rest will look to a Trailblazers team that shot extremely well down the stretch as in their past five games hitting on 49.6% along with 42% from three. Overall Denver did not defend at an elite level as they surrendered 47% shooting on the year. Huge injuries for the Nuggets here. They are without guards Murray and Dozier as well as small forward Barton to injuries. Guard Austin Rivers is questionable with a non-COVID illness. With so many of their guards out it will be a challenge for Denver to defend Lillard and McCollum effectively enough until enough film has been compiled once this series goes deeper. Play Portland +1.
