That was account of a defense that surrendered 401 yards and 29.4 points per game up considerably over their 2019 squad. Exiting the program are the Tar Heels top two running backs and receivers from last year. This is a team that failed to cover their first three road games in the ACC to Boston College, Florida St and Virginia.
