Wake Forest vs. Rutgers—The original opponent for Wake Forest in the Gator Bowl was Texas A&M. With a COVID outbreak for the Aggies a replacement was named. Rutgers accepted the bowl invite on Thursday December 23rd. Scarlet Knights have not played since Thanksgiving Weekend and will have little practice and conditioning time to face this high powered offense of Wake Forest.
