Sony's recent patent for the PS5 Controller (we're calling Dualshock 5 for now) shows a controller mostly in tact with the Dualshock 4 with the exception of the lack of a light bar moving forward. For traditional PS4 backwards compatibility, this offers no issues but Sony's assertion that PSVR will be fully backward's compatible with PS5 leaves questions on how that's accomplished. Many VR games use the controller's light bar for tracking, so we ponder the solutions to a potential problem this week on Triangle Squared: A PlayStation Podcast!
