Two Homes and None

Two Homes and None

About

Race is a funny thing. It's illogical, divisive, and it's only sociological use is to entrench inequality, yet we all seem to recognize and perpetuate its existence. Stranger still are the outliers to our racial categories. The hybrids and the heterogeneous. The mixed and the messy. Those viewed as both idol and outcast. Those who own a bridge to either side and a house on neither. Me, in other words. Hi, I'm Ezra Baptist, your humble captain across the turbulent seas of living while mixed. On this show, we'll be talking to various guests about gender, class, art, politics and how all of those affect and are affected by race, specifically by being stuck half-way between two or more races. The good and the bad, the weird and the whimsical. Come with me and explore what it's like to have two homes and none.
